Let's get you moving and feeling better.
About Me
A trauma-informed Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, Holistic Nutritionist, and Metabolic Balance® Coach.
I often see people who have tried many things to get out of pain, lose weight or overall feel better. I use classical Osteopathy and Personalized nutrition to assess and address what your body needs in a unique way.
I'm a heart centered, curious soul who loves to learn, especially when it comes to understanding how the body and mind work together to create real health.
My passion for this work began (and continues) through my own search for healing and the desire to feel my best.
In my twenties, I was told I would be on medication for the rest of my life. Instead, I became a Holistic Nutritionist and discovered the incredible impact that food, lifestyle, and supporting the body naturally can have on our health.
After living with persistent back pain for a few years, osteopathy changed my life and inspired me to leave an 18-year career in corporate finance, where I worked as a Director of Finance for a large financial institution, and return to school to study osteopathy.
During my third year of osteopathic studies, I experienced my third concussion in tobogganing accident. Once again, I found myself searching for answers on how to heal. Metabolic Balance® found me and became an important part of my recovery and deepened my understanding of how nutrition can influence healing.
Looking back, I think I have always been wired this way. As a child, I loved taking things apart to understand how they worked. That curiosity never left me and served me well in the corporate world. Today, it drives me to understand how every system of the body works together and why symptoms rarely exist in isolation.
Over the years, my learning has expanded beyond anatomy and nutrition. I've studied trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), epigenetics, and the profound ways our nervous system shapes our health. I've learned that many people aren't simply living with physical symptoms they're carrying years of stress, overwhelm, and protective patterns their bodies developed to help them survive.
The body is incredibly intelligent.
It is always adapting. Sometimes those adaptations continue long after they're needed, leaving us feeling stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from ourselves. The encouraging news is that our bodies can change. Our nervous systems can learn. Healing is possible.
That understanding has transformed how I care for people.
I believe healing happens in the space of being truly seen.
My goal is to create a place where you feel heard, understood, and safe enough to explore what your body has been trying to tell you. Together, we address the symptoms and look beyond to better understand the whole picture, restore function, and support your body's remarkable ability to heal.
Today, I'm proud to be an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Holistic Nutritionist, Metabolic Balance Coach, and published author, having contributed a chapter to Wounds to Wisdom. I completed my osteopathic education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and studied nutrition at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, but my greatest education continues to come from my own journey and the people who trust me with their stories every day.
I'm a single mom to two amazing kids and an incredible dog. Like many of my clients, I juggle work, family, and trying to care for myself along the way. I'm not perfect, and I don't expect my clients to be either. Health isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about awareness, consistency, and compassion for yourself. Small changes create momentum, and over time, those small changes can transform your life.
Maybe you've been told you'll have to live with your symptoms.
Maybe your tests keep coming back "normal," but you know something still doesn't feel right.
Maybe you've tried different treatments or different approaches and you're exhausted from searching for answers.
Or maybe you've been meaning to reach out for a long time.
Seeking help can feel vulnerable. It takes courage to trust someone with your health, especially if you've felt unheard, dismissed, or disappointed in the past. If that's been your experience, I want you to know you're not alone.
The fact that you're here tells me something else. A part of you believes feeling better is possible. I believe that too.
The best time to begin caring for your health may have been yesterday. The next best time is today.
If you're ready to better understand your body, improve your energy, reduce pain, and reconnect with your body's natural capacity to heal, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.
